👩🏽‍⚕️Our hips are a very powerful segment of the body. Mobile hips are needed to properly transfer power from the body to the ball. They begin the kinematic sequence (hips➡️torso➡️arms➡️club) which is the most efficient way to strike a ball. Even though PGA & LPGA pros have different swing characteristics, they ALL have this kinematic sequence. 👏

👩🏽‍⚕️Typical injuries relating to the hips include impingements, bursitis, ITB syndrome & general tightness.🤕 Visit your chiropractor to get assessed & help with any hip issues!


🏌🏻‍♂️Common swing characteristics resulting from poor hip mobility are the sway and slide. These can be improved by flaring your feet out 45 degrees at the address position, allowing your body to rotate through the hips. This helps keep the body centre and increase strike consistency.
